I’m sending you a few words here as a reflection on the course of sessions I had with you.
When I came to you, I was very curious about what hypnotherapy is and what it could do for me.
My experience has been that it’s been a very intense process, and there’s been a lot to digest and take in in a short time.
I think the idea of working with the subconscious and the things that may be stored in the body is really exciting and interesting.
What I mainly take with me from the sessions is thinking about when it’s the cat or the lion that gets to speak. I can feel that changing the inner dialogue is a long process, but becoming aware of it is the first step toward creating change.
I also think more about when my thoughts take over, and about the awareness that I can decide when I want to stop the stream of thoughts.
I’ve gained a belief that I can get what I want in this life by believing in it, being focused on it, thinking about it with positive thoughts, and feeling what it will be like.
I’ve also become aware of working on being more present and not constantly thinking about the future, because in doing so I’m depriving myself of the opportunity to enjoy what I have right now.

Over a period of 10 months, I found myself becoming more and more sad and withdrawn. I felt sad deep in my soul without necessarily being able to say why, and I felt like I’d ended up in one big black hole. I felt paralyzed and had no idea how to move forward so that life would make sense again.
I wanted to find my way back to myself, be happy again, and allow and manage the negative and depressive thoughts in such a way that the next time they show up, I won’t end up in the same black hole. I wanted to go deeper in my understanding of my own feelings and behavior patterns, to create an understanding of why I felt the way I did.
The conversations before the hypnosis mapped out and clarified my feelings, my behavior, and not least the challenges I’ve unconsciously carried with me my whole life. Several times during these conversations, I suddenly experienced that things made sense.
The hypnosis sessions were based on the conversations before the hypnosis, which made me feel safe. I got a lot of images in my head during the hypnosis sessions that I couldn’t always explain or assign a deeper meaning to at the time. But after each hypnosis session, I experienced a deeper understanding of my past and feelings, which have been unprocessed baggage. It’s been incredibly hard to feel all these emotions again and work with them, but it has been worth it. I’m surprised at how big an effect each hypnosis session has had on me.
- I feel happy and relieved, and I’ve discovered the power of the mind.
- I’m smiling and happy again. I’m not as tired anymore. I’ve had the energy to do things that are good for me, I’ve found joy in working out again, and I have fewer body aches.
- I automatically think much more positively. I handle challenges much more easily. I’m still affected by other people’s negativity, which means I naturally distance myself from it, and completely unconsciously try to bring positivity into other people’s challenges and negative attitudes. I’ve turned my paralysis into being proactive, and I generally think very positively about myself—which I realized I didn’t before.
- Prue helped me get to the core issue, which was low self-esteem. It came as a big surprise to me that this was my problem, but when I had time to go into all the feelings guided by Prue, I could clearly see that this was where my problem was.
- The hypnosis treatments have had a huge effect on me. I believe this was my rescue out of the black hole. Prue showed me the way and guided me through it in a safe and secure manner. I’ve let go of the victim role, forgiven, and now feel like I can breathe again without an elephant sitting on my chest. I’ve learned to trust myself and my gut feeling, and I now know that I’m good enough exactly as I am.
- I’ve turned around my thoughts, feelings, and behavior, and I feel like a completely different person—which my loved ones can also tell.
- Lots of aha moments and connections I suddenly could make to earlier experiences, which created a greater understanding.
Prue is amazingly good at listening and being present. She hears what you’re trying to express, and also what you find hard to put into words. She says the right things in a really good way. She creates a safe space where everything is allowed, and I feel taken care of.
I’ve already recommended Prue to many people, and I know that one of them is already in treatment with Prue and is so happy about it.
I came to Prue with a feeling that I couldn’t live the life I truly wanted. Sad/depressed and frustrated – also because I was in a relationship where I felt I was losing myself more and more. I felt low self-esteem and confidence.
I’ve felt happy and safe coming to Prue. Through conversation, she pinpointed where my issues might have originated and where, today, I’m getting in my own way. In a very professional, positive, caring, and thorough way, she guided me—first through conversation and later in hypnosis—to develop new thought patterns and a new self-image. I felt incredibly safe the whole way through.
I’ve noticed the change in that I can feel my core, my wishes, and my needs much more clearly. In a way, I feel like I have a bubble around me that I’m inside. This bubble is filled with safety, self-worth, confidence, willpower, positivity, enthusiasm, and strength. It’s simply nice to be here, because I feel strong and not easily shaken. I’ve rediscovered the creativity I have so much of, and I feel the ideas bubbling up. I’m happy and satisfied with the change I’ve felt.
I’m still in my relationship, but I’ve become more aware that maybe this isn’t where I should be if I’m to have the chance to be the version of ME that I want.
The cause of my problems went back to my childhood, where I didn’t feel I was worthy of love. Through hypnosis, I was guided back to my childhood, where I had the opportunity to forgive my parents and myself. It made really good sense to go all the way back to childhood through hypnosis, because I’ve found that ordinary talk therapy while awake hasn’t been able to have the same effect.
I definitely feel the hypnosis treatments have worked. As long as I’m in the relationship I’m in now, though, I do need to work to maintain the good feeling and the “bubble” I described. So it may well be that later on I’ll want a couple more sessions.
I would definitely recommend hypnosis treatment to others if they struggle with issues they can’t really get to the bottom of through regular talk therapy.
Prue is a really sweet and caring therapist who, in a super professional and competent way, has given me tools to move forward in life in the way I wanted.

I thought the conversations before the hypnosis were good and very thorough in terms of how the whole process would unfold.
The hypnosis sessions were exciting to try, but at times also pushed my boundaries—but that’s part of the game.

Physical symptoms – the pressure in my chest has disappeared.

Hi. My name is Michael, and I’ve had the pleasure of going through a hypnotherapy course with Prue Bach.
My main challenges were that, for a long time, I’ve depended on others to be happy. I always think of others first, and I want to solve all their problems and make sure they were OK before I could “allow myself” to be happy. I wanted to change this so that my happiness would come more from within and not depend on everyone else.
Throughout the course, we worked both on the conscious mind through conversations and the subconscious through hypnosis. I’ve previously seen a regular psychologist, and I find hypnotherapy much more effective. Working on both levels delivers much better results.
Working on yourself is a lifelong journey, but through my course with Prue, I’ve taken the next big step and I’m ready to make some necessary changes in my life.

I came to Prue with a lot of inner struggles that I just couldn’t explain. Throughout my life there have been so many things I wanted to “fix” and I’ve tried talking to a psychologist, and I never really felt understood enough. It always felt like I only managed to “solve” a small piece of the whole cake by simply talking to a psychologist…
I decided to come to Prue based on what I read on her website, and something just kept coming up for me that made me want to try working with her. I had a short phone call with her to start with, where she also answered all my questions with such wonderful energy and a positive vibe, and we agreed that we would do 4 sessions. At first I thought, “ummm, I’d rather start with one and then I’ll see if it really makes sense for me”… but as I was thinking that, she also explained why she wanted to do it in 4 sessions.
When I met her for the first time at the first session, I was blown away! Her energy, kindness, and simply the way she spoke to me made me feel so welcome and not ashamed of what I came there to talk about. I pulled out my sheet of notes that I had gathered about things I really wanted to work on, and she wrote her notes… When I was done, she looked at me and put everything I said into her own words and explanations, and it brought tears to my eyes. Prue was the first person who finally truly understood everything I was saying!! It wasn’t just a piece of the cake, it was the whole cake!!!!
I could feel changes in myself right after the first session. And after each session it got better and better, and I handled things so much better. I would pay twice as much for the sessions again and again, because it completely changed my life. The results of the sessions were a thousand times better than I ever imagined!
During the hypnosis itself, I had many breakthroughs about things I was actually very aware of in my conscious mind, but my subconscious had probably suppressed it in some way, which had been holding me back.

I’ve felt bad for many years. I’ve worked really hard to forget what it felt like to be me. I was in a bad relationship until I was 21.
The process started with me having to talk about myself. Prue asked about my life and what I’ve been through. It was really comfortable talking to Prue because she seemed genuinely interested in hearing what problems I had and explained why I had stomach aches and how powerful the mind is.
The hypnosis itself the first time was a wild experience – it was very beneficial, and I could really picture it. Prue is really good at guiding you and keeping you focused. I was full of energy and joy after the first hypnosis session and thought it was absolutely the right choice to ask the clinic for help.
The next sessions were a bit scary for me, and I became really afraid that it wouldn’t get better because I actually felt sad after hypnosis sessions 2 and 3. Prue explained again how much is happening inside the body, and I had probably hoped for a quick fix. She talked about new pathways being created in the brain when the new methods I’ve learned are used. I now think a lot about being the lion and not the cat.
The last session we had was very beneficial, and I now feel a calm in my body that I haven’t felt in a long time.
I used to have constant thoughts that I wasn’t good enough – that thought pattern feels almost “forgotten” or tucked further away. It’s so wonderful. I’ve gotten better at thinking “oh well” or that it’s not my problem but someone else’s. I’m learning to be more selfish. I used to have daily stomach aches and shaking because of anxiety. It’s much better now that I don’t think so much anymore.
I’ve gotten better at taking care of myself and thinking about what I want, not what others want me to do. It’s a completely different world to live in.
I think more positively and don’t have racing thoughts like before, and if they come up, I’ve learned how to get out of it again.
I know it’s not a quick fix, but a new way of seeing the world.
I’ve been hospitalized twice this year with a kidney infection, and Prue has told me that’s where the anxiety sits (in the kidneys).
My stomach works better after I’ve had this treatment with Prue, and I’m really happy about that.
The process with Prue has taught me and changed me in a positive way, with many more good thoughts and a method to stop the bad ones.

Thanks for last time, and I hope you’re doing well. I certainly am.
I’ve now been enjoying the new me for a couple of months and have written down a few words that I hope you can use for something:
When I contacted Prue, my problem was that I had a constant battle in my head when it came to “snacking”. After a big weight loss (before I met Prue), my goal was to keep the number on the bathroom scale down—and it certainly wouldn’t hurt to get it even lower. It took up so much space in my head that, for example, on the way to Legoland with my son in the car, I spent more energy thinking about whether I should “allow myself” an iced coffee than talking with my son about what we could do at Legoland. I could gain weight if I didn’t stick to my “proper” diet. I was convinced that THIS was exactly my problem / my challenge: food and the craving for it. Otherwise, there wasn’t really anything “wrong” with me.
It worked really well with the conversations for a good 1½ hours before the “time in the chair”. I felt 100% safe and had the feeling that I could just talk freely about everything! Because the more open and honest I was, the greater the chance of “turning the ship around” —because even though I thought there wasn’t anything else wrong with me, I wasn’t doing well. I was under pressure and constantly mentally overworked.
During the process, I gained greater insight into why I was the way I was, who I wanted to be, and since then I’ve had many thoughts. Positive thoughts! I had no experience with hypnosis before the process—only an idea that I would lie in a chair and be completely “gone” and not be aware of what was happening to me. I’m positively surprised at how easy it was for me to surrender to the hypnosis. Probably because I felt so comfortable in your company and because I truly wanted a change. I had no doubt that something “happened” to me. It was the wildest feeling when I woke up from the hypnosis. It really worked for me, and I could feel a change in myself. Joy, energy, drive, lightness in my body. All in all, so many good feelings!
My problem was really that I was wildly insecure! My urge to “snack” was my quick fix because eating made me happy—or at least that’s what I told myself. But afterwards I’d be annoyed with myself again, and nothing had changed. I was far too busy focusing on what others (maybe) thought of me and who I was, instead of tuning in to what was important to me—and only me!
During and after my process, I’ve let go of the mental noise about other people’s opinions. They can think what they want; that’s not for me to deal with—or at least I don’t want to waste unnecessary energy on it. I’ve put my bathroom scale out in the garage and decided that the number on the scale is irrelevant. If I’m happy with what I see in the mirror, then that’s how I should be. My relationship with food is much more relaxed. If I want to eat chocolate (snack) with my kids, then I do—and I enjoy it—without feeling guilty afterwards. My mind and my body aren’t overworked like before, and it’s wonderful! I’m doing well and I’m happy with myself.

I think my low self-esteem has been with me for many years and has shown itself in different ways.
How you’ve noticed your change (physically and mentally) – behaviour, habits, mindset, feelings:
– Fairly quickly, I felt you went down into a layer I haven’t been able to reach on my own. In a way, the knowledge you’ve passed on to me feels familiar – I just haven’t been able to feel it – but now I can! I noticed a big change from the 2nd–3rd session, and the 4th session put everything into place. I came home – and I can feel how I’m bubbling with energy inside. I also feel completely safe having you as my cheer squad when I need it along the way – it gives me courage.
How did you experience our sessions – both the conversations and the hypnosis:
Incredibly rewarding – you speak and think quickly – but I think that’s a really good thing for an analytical brain like mine – and a heavily programmed brain like mine – which also tends to work fast – so it created a space around me where I lowered my guard and there was direct access (if I’m to describe the energy in the room). The conversations before the hypnosis are hugely effective – that’s where I’ve really been able to feel a difference in sensing myself – because you created a space with deep focus and kept us on track …
Something that surprised you:
I’m surprised by how deep an effect the conversations and the hypnosis have had – and I’m really surprised by how clearly it came through that we are SO programmed in our lives – and what a relief it is to feel like the master of your own house.
Your conclusion about the treatment and me as a therapist:
You’re insanely good at what you do – and at keeping it on the big-picture level – no navel-gazing (thank God). You’re super sharp at putting it all into words so it makes sense and can be FELT! It’s truly shifted things massively over the 4 sessions we’ve had. It’s hard to describe, but I’ve very much come into contact with my own presence, which has been absent. The amazing thing is that when you’re in this flow, the whole universe falls into line and you become the captain of your own ship.
It’s really wonderful the way you use the image and the charts – it sticks in the visual memory.
Something you would have wanted differently:
Not really – I’m deeply grateful that you showed me the way home to myself – because I’d gotten a bit lost.

Who and how could this kind of programme benefit others – person/situation/company/industry:
I think everyone would benefit greatly from it – you yourself mentioned that 80% go into a programmed cat mode … and we very much need more lions out there who can inspire and spread the good, warm energy of love and abundance. The children of the Earth are little lions, and it’s very close to my heart that we protect their energy with deep respect for what they bring – some of us are standard-bearers – and have an obligation to look after the little beings – so the world continues to be a place of empathy, love, openness and, not least, diversity.

You are one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. So competent, so articulate, so engaged, so authentic, so full of life. Deeply fascinating. There you were… It didn’t take me long to spot your warm smile and contagious laughter, your caring and loving presence, and your genuine attentiveness. It didn’t take me long to feel that calm in my stomach that let me open up to you and let you come really close… It felt safe, it felt trusting.
I came to you, Prue, because I felt powerless, unhappy, inadequate, and extremely afraid of not doing well enough. Powerless and unhappy because I wasn’t going to study medicine, which I’ve chased my whole life, no matter the cost. Suddenly my body said stop—completely. I felt the identity crisis. Unbearable. The feeling of inadequacy and the fear of not doing well enough in my new program. If I can’t become a doctor, then at the very least I have to become a recognized, dedicated, and skilled nurse—because if I can’t even do that, then what can I do? I felt like a failure, I was groping in the dark, and I pushed myself to the limit. My body bombarded me with warning signs, but I was obsessed with proving that I was capable, so of course every single page of the syllabus had to be read. My perfectionism was eating me alive, but I had no choice. I had to grit my teeth.
Now I’m speaking in the past tense, as if it’s all a chapter that’s over. It isn’t—I still find it hard—but I’m in an active process, wanting and daring to change even more, and I’ve never been there before. Early in the process, I felt a—for me, crucial—shift away from my previous, unhelpful narrow-minded perspective on career and success. With a focus on getting to know myself, you helped me discover the 99 other paths, and mentally I felt a new and unfamiliar acceptance of—and joy in—the fact that new doors were opening for me. It felt indescribably good, safe, and gave me a unique sense of inner calm. Your message—that I mustn’t label my “failed” attempt at medical school as a failure, but instead interpret it as a positive experience that I can simply rule out as the right path to happiness and well-being for me—has struck something deep inside me. It’s a message that has become part of my mindset and part of my coping strategies when I’m confronted with my cat triggers. Very practically, I’ve noticed several times how, at school, I suddenly—both physically and mentally—allow myself to fully surrender to an exciting topic. I’m flooded with passionate, happy feelings that can hardly wait for me to become a qualified nurse. That liberating feeling helps create my well-being.
You’ve enabled me to speak my new language; you’ve given me tools to hold and explore new thoughts and reflections, the ability to broaden my perspective, and the courage to let new things in. Imagine that I’ve become the winner of that unique gift. With practice, I believe that one day I’ll succeed in becoming ‘unconsciously competent’. It all starts with our thoughts, as Dr. Joe Dispenza describes it. New thoughts lead to new decisions, and new decisions create new behavior; new behavior leads to new experiences, and new experiences create new feelings.
And it is precisely our feelings that steer our lives and become our reality. As you yourself describe it to me: The inner creates the outer. You’ve given me the conditions to create a healthy inner world.
I’ve gained so much. Not least, I’ve gained the belief that I can create my own path—as long as I get to know myself and dare to stay true to who I am. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’ve had the pleasure of being a client of Prue’s for a couple of years.

The first time I saw Prue for hypnotherapy was in autumn/winter 2018/2019. Prue was looking for clients to take part in the final part of her training, and I was lucky that my mum contacted Prue on my behalf – back then, I didn’t believe I needed the help Prue could offer me.
I would describe myself as very self-aware and goal-oriented, and good at putting my feelings into words. As I’m studying a science degree—and both as a person and through my studies I’m strongly shaped by a scientific way of thinking—I didn’t have much faith in hypnotherapy. The idea that you can work with your subconscious in this way was a completely unknown world to me.
That’s why I initially went into hypnotherapy with a bit of scepticism, but it was quickly put to rest.
I was met by Prue, an incredibly warm, embracing, present and welcoming person. She listens, is extremely trust-inspiring, skilled and competent. She creates a safe environment and an atmosphere that provides the perfect setting for hypnosis.
My issue has been exam anxiety and, as a result, a lack of confidence in my own abilities. I’ve seen Prue many times, at regular intervals—among other things before major exams in my studies—when I’ve needed to let go of the negative and unconstructive thoughts that have been filling me up. For me, the feelings and thoughts I experienced were all-consuming and destructive. I’ve previously found that they prevented me from performing academically, because my mind had already decided that I couldn’t do it. In exam situations my body was restless, I was scared, sad and hopeless. I was stressed, and had countless sleepless nights with every kind of worry flying around in my head.
Hypnotherapy with Prue is the single most important and best “tool to have at hand”.
I always leave Prue with renewed energy, feeling relieved, with new perspectives on things, new ways of thinking about and viewing my situation, and something to keep working on at home—all after just one or a few sessions.

Here is my short statement about the course.
I contacted Prue during the summer holidays for help with myself.
I was struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, I couldn’t take any more, I was tired of fighting and had, in a way, given up inside. Still, I knew I might have a chance with hypnotherapy! My youngest daughter has been through a course herself and it has given her so much—plus all her anxiety is gone, and it’s been over a year since she went to Hypnotherapy Vejle.
